    Thanks to its advanced formulation and high-quality pigments, Ecosoft allows you to paint interiors without being bothered by odors and, above all, without emitting harmful particles into the air during and after drying. Ecosoft avoids the phenomenon of "indoor pollution" and allows freshly painted rooms to be (re)occupied very quickly.

    Ecosoft will give a deep matte appearance on walls and ceilings, is highly resistant and cleans up easily.

    Description of the product

    USE: 

    High-quality soft sheen acrylic paint for interior walls and ceilings, containing no VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds).

    FEATURES:

    Thanks to its advanced formulation and high-quality pigments, Ecosoft allows you to paint interiors without being bothered by odors and, above all, without emitting harmful particles into the air during and after drying. Ecosoft avoids the phenomenon of "indoor pollution" and allows freshly painted rooms to be (re)occupied very quickly.

    Ecosoft will give a soft and tidy finish on walls and ceilings, is highly resistant and cleans up easily.

    SUBSTRATES:

    Gypsum, plasterboard, bricks, concrete, old paint, cement.

    Systems

    On walls and ceilings:

    1 or 2 coats of Ecosoft to be applied directly to a clean, grease-free substrate.

    Theoretical consumption: +/- 0.15 L/m². 

    For porous, powdery or flaky surfaces:

    If the surface is porous, powdery or flaky, we recommend using RD-Unifix impregnating and fixing primer.

    Walls with nicotine or soot stains:

    To prevent migration of remaining nicotine or soot stains into the new topcoat, you can isolate the stains by first applying one or two coats of RD-Deco IsoMat Aqua, a highly pigmented white water-based primer that will block stain migration.

    Aesthetic refreshment:

    A single coat is possible on previously painted surfaces requiring an aesthetic refresh.

    Consumption figures are theoretical and depend on the porosity of the substrate.

    Application instructions

    APPLICATION CONDITIONS:

    Ambient temperature: minimum 5° C (41°F) – Optimal between 12° and 25°C (54° and 77°F).
    Relative humidity: maximum 80 %

    APPLICATION MEANS:

    - Brush (brush or synthetic or silk/polyester brush for acrylic paints)
    - Roller (microfibre or polyamide 10 to 12mm)
    - Airless (nozzle opening: 013 - 015)

    PREPARATION OF THE SUBSTRATE:

    The surface must be dust-free, clean, degreased and dry.
    In the event of stains, use a cleaning agent such as St-Marc or Solarine.

    Joints or cracks: Apply an acrylic putty such as RD-Acryl W to maintain the elasticity of the substrate in fragile and delicate areas, and to fill micro-cracks.

    DILUTION:

    Product is ready-for-use.

    DRYING TIME (20°C - 68°F):

    Touch dry: +/- 1h30 hours
    Dry: +/- 2 hours
    Recoatable: +/- 4 hours
