RD-Deco Isomat Aqua is a high-quality, single-component waterborne acrylic paint which is ideal for renovating and insulating substrates with old damp, nicotine or other stains.

RD-Deco Isomat Aqua :

• Prevents and blocks the migration of old stains through the coating.

• Thanks to its taut matte appearance, it is ideal as a primer and topcoat for ceilings.

• Can be applied as a primer on exotic or tannic woodwork to block tannin migration.

RD-Deco Isomat Aqua can be applied by brush, roller or spray.

Description of the product

USE:

White single-component water-based primer for interior walls and ceilings, with high-coverage and insulating properties, and matte in appearance.

FEATURES:

RD-Deco Isomat Aqua is a high-quality, single-component, waterborne acrylic paint ideal for renovating and insulating surfaces with old damp, nicotine or other stains.

RD-Deco Isomat Aqua :

• Prevents and blocks the migration of old stains through the coating.

• Thanks to its taut matte appearance, it is ideal as a primer and topcoat for ceilings.

• Can be applied as a primer on exotic or tannic woodwork to block tannin migration.

SUBSTRATES:

Plaster, gypsum boards, bricks, concrete, old paints, cement.

Systems

On walls and ceilings:

1 or 2 coats of RD-Deco Isomat Aqua to be applied directly to a clean, grease-free substrate.

Theoretical consumption: +/- 0.15 L/m².

Choose a finishing color from our VOC-free (Volatile Organic Compounds) decorative paints: Ecomat, Ecosatin or Ecosoft.

On tannic or exotic woods :

1 coat of RD-Deco Isomat Aqua to be applied directly to a clean substrate.

Theoretical consumption: +/- 0.15 L/m².

Choose a finishing color from our lacquers:

• RD-Aquatop Matt - Satin - Gloss

• RD-Hydrograff HP Matt - Satin - Gloss

The indicated consumption rates are theoretical and will depend, in particular, on the porosity of the substrate.

Application instructions

APPLICATION CONDITIONS:

Ambient temperature: minimum 5° C (41°F) – Optimal between 12° and 25°C (54° and 77°F).
Relative humidity: maximum 80 %
Surface temperature must be minimum 3°C (5°F) above dew point.

APPLICATION MEANS:

- Brush (brush or synthetic or silk/polyester brush for acrylic paints)
- Roller (microfibre or polyamide 12 to 14mm)
- Airless (nozzle opening: 013 - 015)

PREPARATION OF THE SUBSTRATE:

The surface must be dust-free, clean, degreased and dry.
In the event of stains, use a cleaning agent such as St-Marc or Solarine.

Joints or cracks: Apply an acrylic putty such as RD-Acryl W to maintain the elasticity of the substrate in fragile and delicate areas, and to fill micro-cracks.

DILUTION:

Dilute with +/- 10% water when RD-Deco Isomat Aqua is applied directly to :

- Gypsum
- Concrete and cement
- Wood

Alternatively, on absorbent or porous substrates, RD-Unifix can be used as an impregnating coat.

DRYING TIME (20°C - 68°F):

Touch dry: +/- 2 hours
Recoatable: +/- 4 hours

CLEANING OF TOOLS:

Water
